Sarah Jessica Parker's Fashion Secret

Well, having got bored reading reports of cosmetic surgery and age turning products over the last few years that has become a tad boring of late, What caught me by surprise all of a sudden was an inserting comment by the uber gorgeous and famously famous Sex and the City star—Sarah Jessica Parker. For a change, we have an actress, who does not believe in remaining as good as 16 forever. Bering a realist, Parker chooses to dress as per the styles that compliment her figure and age. Moreover, while most A listers are going in for Botox, the actress chose to age naturally. She believes that she has three exuberant kids and a loving hubby to give her worries as well as love! So why try finding happiness in meager stuff like clothes and skin only? Food for thought—I must say!

Short Height with fat legs

A simple heel would do well for those of you who are short-heighted and have fat legs. Best recommendation is to go for bright colored shoes or the ones with catchy designs.

Tall with thick legs

If you have a good enough height with thick legs, you have a greater number of options. You may go for high heels or stilettos. Open-toe shoes also look good on this body type and so do pointed heels which will make your legs seem slimmer. You may also go for suede boots having side zippers. Avoid wearing flat ballets and small squared heels as these would make you look heavier.

Slim with long legs

Consider yourself lucky if you are slim and have long legs because this category of people has a wide variety of foot-ware to choose from. People with this body type can go for heels as well as flats. Heels or stilettos look good, however, it is recommended not to go for very high heels. Small and mid calf boots also add to the overall appearance of a person with such a structure. The one thing that should be avoided is a pair of pointed shoes as they would make you look a bit too tall which would certainly not look good.

Petite structure with short legs

Those with petite structure can go for all kinds of heels, be it platform hills, wedges or high heels go well with this body type. If you are not comfortable wearing heels then you may even go for flat shoes. However, it is suggested to team them with knee length dresses.

Fashion Tips for expecting moms

Being pregnant is the most beautiful feeling for any woman. However, being the most wonderful phase in a woman’s life, it is equally challenging when it comes to choosing the right kind of clothes during this time. The challenge gets even bigger as the same clothes cannot be worn during the entire 9 months period. Since the size of a woman changes manifold during the course of pregnancy, she is required to shop quite a few times during this period.

It is seen that most women prefer purchasing loose fitting clothes during this time due to comfort factor. However, though comfort should be given priority, a woman must not stick only to these loose fitting clothes, as they make one feel dull and boring.

The market is flooded with fashion wear catering to every age group. However, when it comes to choosing clothes during pregnancy, the choice seems a bit limited. But, there is no need to worry. Here are a few fashion tips for the pregnant ladies:

Skinny Jeans or Trousers teamed with long Tunics: Confused as to what clothes to wear during pregnancy? Go for skinny jeans or trousers along with a long tunic. This goes well in all the three trimesters of pregnancy. However, those women who feel sick or dizzy during this time and don’t feel like going out shopping; may even order these online. As already mentioned these go well during the entire pregnancy period; though one may have to get them altered or buy a bigger size as the pregnancy stage advances.

Skirts with T-Shirts: You may team a skirt with a T-shirt. However, make sure that you do not go for long skirts; shop for knee length skirts as they are comparatively more comfortable as well as stylish. Also see to it that you do not go for lighter shades during the pregnancy period. It is always better to pick dark colored T-shirts as well as skirts as they make one look slimmer. It is also a good idea to dress up in the same color from head to toe as this also creates an optical illusion; making one look slimmer.

Wrap dresses: Wrap dresses can be worn comfortably during the pregnancy period. They look trendy and are comfortable at the same time. Now, when it comes to wrap dresses or wrap tops, there are various designs to choose from. You may pick the one you like, however, it is recommended to avoid the horizontal stripes pattern.

Prefer Dark colors: It is recommended not to go for lighter shades during the pregnancy period. Instead pick up dark colored clothes as they make one look slimmer. An expecting mother may go for Black, Brown, Maroon, Dark Blue and other similar colors. It is also a good idea to dress up in the same color from head to toe as this also creates an optical illusion; making one look slimmer.

Avoid Horizontal Stripes: It is recommended to wear skirts, T-shirts, sweaters and dresses with vertical stripes as they make a person appear slimmer. A pregnant woman may even opt for other designs but it is better to avoid wearing horizontal stripes.
