Well, having got bored reading reports of cosmetic surgery and age turning products over the last few years that has become a tad boring of late, What caught me by surprise all of a sudden was an inserting comment by the uber gorgeous and famously famous Sex and the City star—Sarah Jessica Parker. For a change, we have an actress, who does not believe in remaining as good as 16 forever. Bering a realist, Parker chooses to dress as per the styles that compliment her figure and age. Moreover, while most A listers are going in for Botox, the actress chose to age naturally. She believes that she has three exuberant kids and a loving hubby to give her worries as well as love! So why try finding happiness in meager stuff like clothes and skin only? Food for thought—I must say!

Select shoes matching your body type

Shoes can make or mar a person’s overall appearance. That’s why it is essential to choose the right pair of shoes matching your outfit as well as your body type. However, it is seen that though most people are good at matching their shoes with their outfits but when it comes to the right pair to match their body type, they often get confused. If you too are clueless as to what kind of shoes would go well with your body type then read on.

Short Height with fat legs

A simple heel would do well for those of you who are short-heighted and have fat legs. Heels are recommended to them for obvious reasons as these would make them look taller, thus enhancing their overall look. The people falling in this category may also go for shoes with open-toe. It is told that flats should be avoided as much as possible. Also people with this kind of body structure should not go for mid-calf pattern. Best recommendation is to go for bright colored shoes or the ones with catchy designs.

Tall with thick legs

If you have a good enough height with thick legs, you have a greater number of options. You may go for high heels or stilettos. Open-toe shoes also look good on this body type and so do pointed heels which will make your legs seem slimmer. You may also go for suede boots having side zippers. Avoid wearing flat ballets and small squared heels as these would make you look heavier.

Slim with long legs

Consider yourself lucky if you are slim and have long legs because this category of people has a wide variety of foot-ware to choose from. People with this body type can go for heels as well as flats. Heels or stilettos look good, however, it is recommended not to go for very high heels. Small and mid calf boots also add to the overall appearance of a person with such a structure. The one thing that should be avoided is a pair of pointed shoes as they would make you look a bit too tall which would certainly not look good.

Petite structure with short legs

Those with petite structure can go for all kinds of heels, be it platform hills, wedges or high heels go well with this body type. If you are not comfortable wearing heels then you may even go for flat shoes. However, it is suggested to team them with knee length dresses.
